We’ve just acquired several boxes of vintage science fiction paperbacks ranging from Asimov to Zelazny and including over a dozen Philip K. Dick titles. Stories of space both inner and outer — robots, aliens and drug fiends (all fun folks to spend some time with).
As fun and interesting as the tales within the covers is the artwork of the covers themselves. Featuring classic work by masters of the genre such as Bob Pepper, Oliviero Berni and Laurence Kresek, these little gems could hang on your wall as easily as rest on your bookshelf.
Some of these books are collectible, like the first DAW edition of A Scanner Darkly, Dick’s semi-autobiographical novel of the drug culture in the dark “future” of 1994. But most are just good reads so we’ve priced them to go: a table full of great books at $3 each or 5 for $10, plus several ranging from $5 to $12 have been added to our regular sci-fi/fantasy shelf.
Come and get them while they last (or before they are beamed back up to where the came from).
