Keith McCafferty, award-winning survival and outdoor skills editor of Field & Stream, visits Livingston for a reading of his latest fly-fishing mystery Crazy Mountain Kiss, at Elk River Books, 120 N. Main St. on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. The free reading takes place at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a book signing and reception.
This novel continues McCafferty’s acclaimed mystery series (The Royal Wulff Murders, The Gray Ghost Murders and Dead Man’s Fancy) with the reunion of private investigator Sean Stranahan and Sheriff Martha Ettinger to solve the murder of a missing rodeo queen using clues found within the mysterious legends of Montana’s Crazy Mountains.
Publishers Weekly called Crazy Mountain Kiss “a must for fans of eclectic mysteries in which the setting is just as important as the characters.” Booklist, in its starred review, called it “the best McCafferty novel yet.”
