Married novelists Craig Lancaster and Elisa Lorello are partners in fact and now in fiction, with the release of their co-authored romantic comedy, You, Me and Mr. Blue Sky. To celebrate its publication, Elk River Books will hold a free reading and reception on Thursday, April 4, at 7 p.m.

According to the publisher, “Jo-Jo Middlebury is done with love. Linus Travers wants one more shot at it. Mr. Blue Sky, their 1970s-loving guardian angel, offers perspective on both when he’s not busy diving into reruns of Happy Days and Barney Miller.”

Craig Lancaster is the author of nine books of fiction, including the bestselling series of novels featuring the character Edward Stanton (600 Hours of Edward, Edward Adrift, Edward Unspooled) as well as a collection of short stories. He is also a frequent contributor to magazines and newspapers as both a writer and an editor. His work has been recognized by the Montana Book Awards, the High Plains Book Awards, the Utah Book Awards, the Independent Publisher Book Awards and others.

Elisa Lorello has taught rhetoric and writing at the college level for more than 10 years. She is the author of 11 novels, including the bestselling Faking It. She has been featured in Montana Quarterly and Rachael Ray Every Day magazines, and in Jane Friedman’s blog series 5 On. She continues to speak and write about her publishing experiences and to teach the craft of writing and revision.

Molly D. Campbell, author of Keep the Ends Loose, describes You, Me and Mr. Blue Sky as “a romance that proceeds as a wonderful argument between two people who need some divine intervention to knock sense into their heads. A fun read from two terrific authors.”

The event will be held upstairs at Elk River Books, 120 N. Main St. in Livingston. For more information, call 333-2330.
